just an optical illusion! - part 3.

Now comes a series of photomontages with pictures which were shot at the Drehbrücke in the Deutzer Hafen in Cologne. Like in part 2 I used the Nikon F-501 with the Exakta 35-70 lens, but now an expired Kodak VR+200.
The photomontage consists of 5 C-Prints in the size 10x15cm. Total size: 24x28cm
The photomontage consists of 2 C-Prints in the size 10x15cm. Total size: 13x15cm
The photomontage consists of 6 C-Prints in the size 10x15cm. Total size: 25x27cm
The photomontage consists of 3 C-Prints in the size 10x15cm. Total size: 19,5x21,5cm
The photomontage consists of 3 C-Prints in the size 10x15cm. Total size: 21x15,5cm
The photomontage consists of 4 C-Prints in the size 10x15cm. Total size: 20,5x21,5cm

just an optical illusion! - part 2.

I made a new photomontage in the same style like in part 1. But now we wanted to create a montage where my girlfriend is several times to see. Once more we chosed the Südbrücke in Cologne as ideal location.
I used the Nikon F-501 with the Exakta 35-70 lens and an expired Kodak Farbwelt 200.
The photomontage consits of 11 C-Prints in the size 10x15cm. The total size is 33x33cm.

Cross your life.

For a long time I wanted to shoot on slide film and cross it, but I've never bought some slide films, until last year as I bought two since May 1998 expired Agfachrome CTx100.
Some weeks ago I tried one of them with my Nikon F-501 and first with the Mitsuki 2.8/135mm in combination with the Nikon HS-4 lens hood and then with the Non-Ai Nikkor-H Auto 3.5/28mm.

Colorize your day - part 2.

The first part is only about pictures made with an orange filter and in the second part I'm showing just pictures with the Rowi Spot Green filter in combination with the Nikon F-501 and first with the Mitsuki 2.8/135mm and an expired Rossmann HR200. As you can see the spot effect is going lost with the increase of the focal length, but the green effect is still working.

Then I used the spot green filter in combination with the Non-Ai Nikkor-H Auto 3.5/28mm on the Nikon F-501. I shot on an expired Kodak Farbwelt 200. Here the spot effect and the green effect are very good.

Colorize your day - part 1.

I like to use effect filter especially for portraits. Some time ago I bought a Rowi Orange filter and used it with my Nikon F-501 in combination with the Mitsuki 2.8/135mm and first with an expired Fuji made Rossmann HR200.

Then I used once more the Nikon F-501, the Mitsuki 2.8/135mm and the Orange filter, but now with a very old Oga Color 100. I think it is expired since the early 1990s, probably it is a labeld 3M film from Italy.

Finally I used the SX-70!

I bought my Polaroid SX-70 Sonar OneStep at a flea market in 2006 for 15 Euro. Some months ago I bought an Impossible Color Film. But until now I didn't shoot with the SX-70. I even shot the Instax wide 300 before it and the Instax I only received in May.

It was the first time for many years that I used a Pola. In the past I only used a Supercolor 635 CL, but the SX-70 is really much more fun to use than a simple Pola 600 camera.
But I must confess that I was disappointed about the development of the film, because it lost the feeling of the instant film. First the photo appears as a solid dark blue and remains so for a long time. And you must put the photo facedown in a dark place like a bag or pocket.
I remember the old original Polaroid films where it was much better and easier.
I did really everything which is written in the manual of the film, but the results are simply bad. Six of eight photos are overexposed. I set the lighten/darken wheel of the camera, but it made no difference.
Compared to the Instax film the Impossible film is really bad.
I hope that they will make the film better, because I will use my SX-70 one more time. It's really cool to use the camera.

I edited the following photos with Photoshop to see at least something on it.

undermudwater...

Some time ago I bought a Sealife SL-100 underwater camera with three expired Kodak Farbwelt 200 films.
picture from the ebay seller
Until now I havn't it yet used underwater, but first I made some pictures undermud and then some shadow pictures during biking in the woods. It is a little bit complicated to use the camera, because of the underwater housing, but with a time you get used to it.

Ent-Faltet.

The work Ent-Faltet (entfaltet, which is German and means unfolds) stands in connection with my work Ent-Fernt (entfernt, which is German and means removed) from 2008.
I used once more like for the transplantation works the Fernmeldeturm Grünwettersbach as motive and shot it with my Praktica PLC3 and the Revue Automatic 4.5/240mm lens (a rebranded Enna München Tele-Ennalyt) on an AgfaPhoto APX 100 film.
The photomontage Ent-Faltet #1 consists of 6 B&W-Prints in the size 10x15cm. Size: 48x16,5cm
The photomontage Ent-Faltet #2 consists of 4 B&W-Prints in the size 10x15cm. Size: 54x15,5cm
